2022 Rejoice Manningham LNY Colouring Contest

REJOICE MANNINGHAM LUNAR NEW YEAR COLOURING CONTEST 2022

Chinese New Year is the first day of the New Year in the Chinese calendar. It is also know as the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year. Every Chinese lunar year is represented by a zodiac animal sign and year 2022 will be the year of TIGER. Chinese New Year is one of the world’s most colourful events with celebrations across the world.

Rejoice Manningham Lunar New Year Fun Fair will be held on 12 February 2022 (Sat) in M C Square. Rejoice had been the organizer for the previous four years. This fun fair is kindly supported by Manningham Council’s Community Grant Program.

The objective of this colouring contest is to create greater awareness of the Chinese culture with the wider community. We received over 1000 entries last year. We were overwhelmed and impressed by the great creativity and artistic talents in the submissions. Doncaster Gardens Primary School won the group award. The winners were awarded through their schools during the COVID lockdown period. All the submissions received their gifts.

How to Enter

Ask your mum or dad for permission first.
Colour in your picture with as much colour, or drawings and creativity as you like.
You can download the pictures from the link underneath in this page. Please select the one in your age group.
You can also create your own drawings or picture.
Fill in your details:
- your name and age, school / organization
- the name, contact number and email of your mum or dad.
Send it to us (ask for mum or dad’s help) by either :
- Scanning the picture and then emailing it to rejoicecomcenter@gmail.com, or
- Mail to PO Box 306, NUNAWADING VIC 3131
Deadline for entries: 17/12/2021

Attractive Prizes

GROUP AWARD Prize will be awarded to the group that has the most entries among all ages.

INDIVIDUAL AWARD Prizes will be awarded to the best 3 winners in each age group.

All winners will be announced and notified by 31 Jan 2022. Prizes and certificates will be awarded during the opening ceremony of 2022 Rejoice Manningham Lunar New Year Festival on 12^th February, 2022 in MC Square Doncaster.

Every submissions can collect a gift in the opening ceremony.

All winners must be present to receive prize.
