CONDITIONS OF HIRE

AREA BOOKED

The Hirer is only entitled to use the area of the Facility stipulated and paid for. R@S
Centre reserves the right to book any other portion of the facility for any other purpose at
the same time.

BOOKING TIME

When an application to hire is made the booking time requested must allow for and include
setting up time as well as time at the conclusion of the function for cleaning of the Facility.
The Hirer shall vacate the premises punctually at the time specified. Failure to comply will
result in additional charges and the cancellation of any future bookings.

HIRE FEES

20% of the hire fees must be paid as deposit on the time of the booking. The balance has
to be paid 30 calendars days before the event.

BOND

The payment of $150 bond must be made for any booking and in advance of the booking.
It will be refunded if the Facility is left in good condition within 28 working days of the
conclusion of the booking. Cleaning and repair charges will be deducted from any bond if
required.

CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS

  • If the Hirer cancel 30-45 calendar days prior to the confirmed booking, a $25 cancellation fee applies (or the full amount of the booking fee whichever is less).
  • If the Hirer cancel 16-29 calendar days prior to the confirmed booking, a $50 cancellation fee applies (or the full amount of the booking fee whichever is less).
  • There will be no refund for bookings cancelled within 15 calendars days of the event.
  • Bookings cannot be cancelled within 15 calendars days of the event.

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING TO R@S CENTRE
CLEANING

CLEANING

The premises and facilities must be left in a clean and tidy condition by the hirer prior to
vacating the premises. All rubbish and recycling MUST be disposed of and taken away.

  •  All furniture including the tables and chairs must be restored in the same position as
    they were.
  •  All decorative material must be removed by the end of the booking.
  •  Any item left in the R@S Centre is at your own risk.
  •  Failure to comply with any of these conditions could lead an additional cost. This will
    be deducted from the security bond.
  •  Set up of the Venue is the responsibility of the Hirer unless a set up fee has been
    prepaid.

AUDIO AND LIGHT SYSTEM

An in-house audio and light system is available for use. It can be hired with the additional
cost of a technician.

DAMAGES

The Hirer will be liable for replacement or repair of any items or areas damaged by their
group or their guests. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to inform the R@S Centre of any
damages which occurred during the course of the event, further penalties may apply if
undisclosed.

SMOKING

R@S Centre is a non-smoking venue. Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings at
any time.

OBSTRUCTIONS

The Hirer must ensure that all Emergency Exits, Access Ramps and Stairways remain clear
at all times.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

The Hirer is legally liable for injury or property damage arising from the Hirer’s usage of the
property. Any injury or property damage caused by or arising from the Hirer’s usage or
occupation of the property is the responsibility of the Hirer. The Hirer shall as a condition
of this agreement provide to R@S Centre evidence, in writing, of a current public liability
insurance policy, with a limit of indemnity of not less than $10 million ($10,000,000).

NO SUBLETTING

The Hirer must not sublet or assign its Booking to any person or entity without the prior
written consent of R@S Centre and on such terms and conditions as R@S may specify.

租賃條款

場地租賃

租賃者只有權使用所支付費用的場地及設施。R@S 中心同時亦擁有保留預訂其他地方及設施
的使用權。

預訂時間

租賃者申請使用場地的時間必須包括會場佈置及活動結束後整理清潔的時間。租賃者必須在
指定的時間內交還該場地，否則租賃者必須支付額外的費用，或可被取消以後租賃的資格。

租賃費

租賃者必須在申請時支付總金額的 20%作爲訂金。剩餘的租賃費用必須在舉辦活動前的30
天內付清。

按金

租賃者必須於活動前支付額外的$150 作爲使用設施的按金。當租賃者使用場地後，如果設施
完整沒有任何損壞，按金將在活動結束後的28 個工作日內全數退還。場地設施必須保持整
潔，否則將從按金扣除相關的費用。

活動取消

  •  如租賃者在活動開始前 30 到45 天之內取消預訂，則需支付$25 的行政費。（如訂金少於
    $25，則訂金不能退回。）
  •   如租賃者在活動開始前 16 到29 天之內取消預訂，則需支付$50 的行政費。（如訂金少於
    $50，則訂金不能退回。）
  •   如要在活動開始前 15 天之內取消預訂，則不會退還預訂時的訂金。
  •   場地預訂不能在活動前 15 天之內取消。

所有取消預訂的租賃者，必須以書面通知R＠S 及經R＠S 確認下才能有效。

清潔

在結束活動後，場地和設施必須保持乾淨整潔。所有垃圾必須自行清理及處理，帶出會場。

  •   所有的設施，包括桌子及椅子，必須歸回原處。
  •   所有的裝飾品及佈置，必須在活動結束時移除。
  •   任何私人物品被遺留在會場，如有丟失，R＠S 將不承擔任何責任。
  •   任何違反以上條款而引致額外的費用，將會在按金內扣除。
  •   除非支付額外的費用，租賃者負責場地包括桌子及椅子的擺設。

燈光和音響系統

場地設有專業的音響和燈光設備。租賃者必須支付一名專業技術員的費用，才可使用。

損壞賠償

如在租賃期間有任何器材或設備被租賃的團體或嘉賓損壞，租賃者有責任承擔維修或更換的
費用。如有任何隱瞞，一旦發現，R＠S 中心將會對該租賃者做出相應的或更重的罰款。

吸烟

場館內嚴禁吸烟。

場地出口

租賃者必須確保於租賃時間在場地內的緊急出口、通道及樓梯保持通暢。

保險

租賃者在法律上有責任爲自己在場地使用期間所導致的受傷和財物的損壞作出相應的賠償。
租賃者必須有公共責任保險，必須以書面形式提供給R＠S 中心作爲憑證，並且其保單金額
不得低於$10,000,000。

不得轉租

在沒有經過 R@S 中心的書面同意下，租賃者不得轉租該場所給任何人或其他團體。
